Train Adventure July 2009

I took Garrett on a 'surprise' train ride from Edmonds to Everett (about 30 minutes each way)
we call it our TRAIN ADVENTURE
He LOVED it!! We had a great time! Once in Everett, we had about 3 hours before our return trip home, so we caught a bus which took us straight to McDONALD'S! We ate dinner & He played until he was worn out there - about perfect timing, then we caught another bus back to the station & rode the rails home. The tracks run right along the water's edge most of the way & there was a beautiful sunset on the way home. He videotaped pretty much the whole ride back, talking to the camera & describing what was out there :)
We could also see the Everett Naval Station, which he thought was pretty cool as well.

...Wonder where our next 'ADVENTURE' will take us...
